- Ingredients
- 200 grams sugar (1 cup)
200 grams margarine (`3/4 cup and 3 T) 2 big eggs 200 grams flour (1`1/2 cups) 1 t baking powder a little vanilla
2 big apples(yellow or red) sugar and cinnamon
- Instructions
- Cream the sugar and margarine till it gets white-ish. Add one and one egg and stir well in-between. Add the flour and baking powder and spread it in a greased 22 cm round pan. Or just any smaller pan.
Peel the apples and cut them in wedges and coat them with sugar and cinnamon before you stick them in the batter. (Sometimes I use a plastic bag and put the sugar, cinnamon and apples in and shake it to coat!)
Heat the oven to 175°C, put the cake in and bake it for 30 to 40 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
