Ingredients
1 cup chopped onion

1 cup peeled and chopped carrots 3 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped 1/3 cup margarine `1/2 cup flour 3 cups chicken broth 1 cup milk or half and half 1 tsp salt `1/2 tsp pepper 3 to 3`1/2 cups shredded, cooked chicken Favorite pastry recipe (I use 7 Days Bake It Frozen Puff Pastry - defrosted)

Instructions
In a large pan, sauté onion and carrots in margarine until tender for about 10 minutes. Add flour to sautéed mixture, stirring well. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Combine broth and milk (or half and half) and gradually stir into vegetable mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly. Stir in salt and pepper to taste. Add chicken and potatoes and stir well. Pour mixture into a greased 9 x 13 casserole dish. Top with puff pastry. Cut slits in pastry. Bake at 200°C until crust is golden brown.

You can add any vegetables you like (broccoli, peas, celery or corn). Play around with it and be creative.
